Care
We all need a little after care in lots of differnt ways. Whether that's a big hug or a soak in the bath after a long day, your jewellery is just the same.
Your jewellery should be kept wrapped in tissue or cloth, separate from other jewellery to protect from scratches. You can store all your pieces together in a jewellery box, but it's important to wrap each item.
Clean your jewellery with a toothbrush and some warm soapy water every so often to remove any tarnish and dirt build up. Then polish gently with a soft cloth, or let it dry on the windowsill under the light of a full moon.
Knowing more about your jewellery’s materials will influence how you care for your jewellery. Each material responds better to different treatments so we’ve included some tips below. All the pieces in our current range are Stirling silver.
There are many external factors that influence the longevity of your jewellery, but the most important things to remember are:
Perfume, soap suds, sunscreen or hairspray will all build on your jewellery, dulling its shine. The ocean saltwater, chlorine and fresh water will all tarnish and age your jewellery in different ways.
Remember to clean it periodically to keep it at it's best.
